Sunshine Coast Bodyboard Club(SCBC) competition 4 will be held on Saturday 14th April 2011.

As usual SCBC always need extra hands so bring your friends & parents to help and support you and the club! Extra hands guarantee a smoothly ran club.

Meet: Sunshine Beach SLSC, Sunshine Beach at 7am for contest sign on and set-up. Make sure you sign on before 7:30am if you are running late please phone officials. First heat will hit the water at approx 7:30am

Forecast is clear blue sky with a 2 – 3 foot SSE swell.
WIND: Early lighter SW winds tending SSW during the day then SSE 15 to 25 knots into the afternoon.
Come down for fun clean waves, great tunes and cool music!

QAB Pro & Queensland Bodyboard titles round 1 about to launch

The 2011 IBAA Rebel Sport Pro Tour is about to get underway with event 1 The QAB Pro poised to launch on Friday 1st April.

The QAB Pro will be held in conjunction with round 1 of the Queensland state bodyboard titles.

The event will mark the start of the 2011 Australian Pro bodyboard tour which has attracted some of Australia's best riders, who will be at the first rounf to grab valuable points. These riders will include such bodyboarders as Dallas Singer, Tom Rigby, Michael Novy, Dave Winchester and defending champion for this annual Pro event Hayato Enokido from Japan just to name a few...The swell and winds are looking good for the event.

The event will be held at Duranbah beach on the border of NSW & QLD starting on Friday 1st of April and finishing on Sunday 3rd of April.

All the finals will be held on the Sunday.

The 2011 Rebel Sport Pro Tour will this year start with a BANG!!

Event 1 QAB Pro April 1-3 2 Star

Event 2 Soldiers Bch April 6-9 3 Star

Event 3 BOX Pro April 11-20 5 Star

Three events in three weeks and in case you didn't know this year your IBAA National ranking will count towards your over GQS ranking.
